Qantas Frequent Flyer - Did the Australian swimmers in IND fly QF?

I've been in Indianapolis the last two days at swimming's World Championships. Sad that a lot of the Australian swimmers I've seen over the years are not here (Thorpe, Hackett, Klim, Huegill among the men), though I did see a few of them in Athens in August. Natalie Coughlin, from the U.S. (family friend), is also not here, having dropped out last week with a stress fracture to her left foot (and now Michael Phelps is injured and out of the running, too). I already had tickets and hotel booked, so came anyway, and the last two nights have been pretty exciting. I have been able to sing Advance Australia Fair more than once :)

Curious if the Australian swimmers that are here come in on a One World routing using QF and AA, or do they use QF and another carrier? I'm guessing there's not enough bodies here to charter a plane, and wouldn't think they'd fly across the Pacific on anyone but Qantas, right?

Anyone know how they route these flights?

I am assuming they did use Qantas, as the Swimming Aus has them as one of the sponsors. as for the flights within the US I am guessing AA both on regular service routes

Cheer those ozzies please Tom!

The Australian PARALYMPIC team all came home from Athens via SQ metal I read last week.

Weird. And not a good look for QF was my impression. :td:

Quite a change from dedicated 747s for the able bodied Olympians.
