After the crash of Flight 427 in PIT in 1994, US stock was at about $4.50 a share. I was still living in PIT at the time thinking that it couldn't go lower (or go out business---wrong on that one)... I came close to buying a lot (meaning 10,000 shares), but I chickened out. Before the UA merger attempt, the stock got as high as the $65 to $70 range. I held on as it went to $60+ then back to the $20s or 3$0s. After the UA merger announcement it went to $48 and I got out. |
