Other Middle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs - SAA Lounge Question

Can someone please advise where the Arrivals Lounge is at JNB? Also, is there access to any Arrivals Facility at LHR for J and F travellers on SAA?

I'm having difficulty accessing the SAA web site for info. SAA's web sites frequently hang. Try posting in this same query in FlyerTalk Forums > Community > LocalTalk > LocalTalk in Africa > Johannesburg International airport [JNB] for information.

Unless you have a meeting in Jo'burg and do not have time to get to your hotel before your meeting, after such a long flight through London, you will want to get out of the airport (no matter how good SAA's lounge is).

Arrivals Lounge @ LHR is certainly available for F/J pax - they give out cards at check in JNB .... Not sure if it's only fare paying pax or if you can get in on an upgrade/mileage ticket

Arrivals lounge in LHR is decent (it's landside in T1 Departures - beside the BA Domestic Checkin) ... Given the 0600ish arrival time of the SAA flights it's good to get a shower as you'll be unlikely to get into your hotel that early.

The lounge is one floor up from the arrivals hall, after customs. It is signposted. A nice lounge, in my opinion, with plenty of showers.
