My Quicksilver number has changed. This might be a change that affects everyone. My old login ID and password worked, however.

Coupon ID U59I is worth a free upgrade first time you use the number before December 31, 2004

"Visit http://alamo.com/quick by December 31, 2004 and either provide or confirm your e-mail address. You will then receive an electronic coupon for one free day* of a midsize through fullsize 4-door car in the United States or Canada. Simply request Coupon ID F27I at the time of reservation." After updating my profile, and "free day" button was on the screen.

* On the postcard, it claims "Valid through August 31, 2005 for rentals of at least 5 days. One electronic coupon per Alamo rental and void once redeemed. Free day is prorated against base rate for entire period, which does not include taxes/surcharges..."

Coupon has similar terms, but says 3 days rather than 5 days.

I can confirm: the F27I free day works on 3-day rentals. Thanks for posting this: I followed the instructions, updated my profile, and printed the F27I e-coupon. I will be using it for a rental in Denver where all of the other major companies are asking $35/day for a car and not accepting any of their useful coupon codes. Alamo was $17.99/day and 1 day is free. Although the Alamo suck factor has been high lately, I'll accept a bit of time-risk to get a $55 all-in 3-day weekend vs. a $140 one. ^

Reserved 3 days in HNL and 4 days in OGG using this code -- got free day each time although rates in HNL are still expensive. Reservation said Quicksilver is available at both locations -- we'll see if that works.
