This was our second time eating at Fiamma as we enjoyed our first experience so much. I'm happy to report that the second visit was just as good and will keep us coming back for more.

Mrs. UA835 and I were seated in a relatively empty Fiamma on Sunday evening. Since we had eaten there before, we pretty much had our dishes picked out before sitting down.

For an appetizer, we shared the Polipo, which was charred Octopus on top of a bed of new potatoes. Fantastic! Octopus is one of my favorite orders at Sushi restauants, so I was quite happy to enjoy it served a different way.

For Dinner Entrees, We had the Lobster Gnocchi & Short Rib Raviolini. The Lobster Gnocchi is worth the trip by itself ... What sets this Gnocchi apart from most is that there's no heavy cream or tomato sauce that drives the taste of the whole dish. It's more like chunks of lobster, mushrooms, and pieces of gnocchi in a light vinegar/oil dressing ... which allows you to appreciate the taste of the individual items. The Short Rib Raviolini was almost just as good, but you had to cut the raviolini in half to actually think there was any meat in there ... probably the best way to enjoy this dish as it really lets the wine sauce blend with the meat.

Overall, another great meal that wasn't too expensive (for Vegas!). 1 Beer, 1 Appetizer and 2 Entrees came to around $75 with tip.
