Had dinner at the Mirage's new Buffet 'Cravings' last Thursday, and unfortunately I was a little disappointed. Overall, it seemed like they tried to copy the new Rio Buffet and put it on the strip, with the result being below the quality of Rio's
Dinner was around $22. The fare was pretty standard for the current trend of 'live-action' buffets, but did not include a Tepanyaki station (one of the reasons I prefer Rio.) They had crab legs (not sure which kind, but not King or Snow), but the pickings were pretty slim ... even though we got there after a fresh fill.
In summary, nothing struck me as overly imaginitive or original. I followed up with my usual trip to the Bellagio Buffet on Friday night, and wondered why I ever go anywhere else. :)
