US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-2005 America West merger) - Ticket Insurance - Orbitz or other for US?

Is anyone buying ticket insurance (e.g. from Orbitz) for US flights that are further out in time and may not be covered by credit card agreements?

I'm sticking with US as much as possible, including personal travel, and for the latter am considering hedging the bet. The Orbitz-offered insurance looked like it would cover US folding and wasn't too expensive. (Actually the Orbitz site saved me $180 over usairways.com for the same flights, although I thought that wasn't supposed to happen - so I could almost justify paying a bit more for the insurance).

Thanks

Reading the fine print, it looks like coverage must be purchased no later than 14 days after buying the ticket. That will do me no good for my tickets in December that were purchased over a month ago. :( Oh well, if I want to buy more tickets for date far in advance, I know what to do to hedge my bets.
