Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - All our operators are busy-please call later!

What is happening at Asia miles.
I called this morning from 6am to 11am to change a Qantas flight booked thru asiamiles.
they said the link was down between them and Qantas.
then at midday I then checked the amex website and U class was gone!
so tried to call Asia miles all afternoon and get a recorded message.

That is a bit slack!

That is strange, I never waited more than 1 minute for hte MPC.

Well at least Asia Miles is 24 hours and unlike QF, it takes for EVER everytime!

Don't trust the U class availability for QF flights on any CRS or website. It is usually not linked directly to QF's CRS and the display is usually wrong.

Asiamiles can sometimes be overwhelmed due to the time of calls from Asia/Pacific regions. So I am not surprised to hear the message sometimes - especially when the hunting line computer goes down.

I wouldn't call the service slack... it happens to the best of companies at times.

this happens all the time, just call back 30 seconds later and you can usually get through.
