Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Asiamiles Redemption... flight cancelled!

Hi Guys,

As you may be aware, BA has been really helpful and cancelled nearly 1,000 flights across their network. And yes according to Murphy's Law, my flight was cancelled a week after I issued a BA WTP redemption ticket HKG-LHR BA 32 (dep. 25 Sept am flight). They confirmed the 22nd instead and I am not prepared to leave earlier in Hong Kong due to commitments. Is there anything I can do in this case to leave on the 24th (late nite) with other airlines (alternative) as part of their compensation arrangements?

Any advice would be appreciated!

You have to discuss this with Asiamiles as they are the ones who booked this. They have already offered you an alternate date but the actual dates that you want may not be available. I don't know if Asiamiles will offer you a refund of miles as this was clearly not your fault but BA's... all I can suggest is for you to talk to ASIAMILES and see how it goes.
