Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - First Time in BC on 747 with CX and layover in HKG

Hi!

I am an AA PLT, and this is going to be my first time traveling in CX, I need your help with recommendations on the following:
- BC Seats on 747, UD vs. LD. Which is better?

- I have a 7 hrs. layover in HKG on my way to PEN, recommendations? CX Lounge? Which one? take a short trip to the City? :confused:
