Received this e-mail from NZ today:

Dear Latitudes,

What do you love about New Zealand? The tranquil drives or the extreme sports? The trendy Auckland cafes or the beautiful Marlborough wineries?

Perhaps it's easier just to say, everything.

You don't have to wait until you get there to enjoy a little of what makes the country so special. Experience it first on one of Air New Zealand's 125 flights a week from Australia to New Zealand.

With so many flights, only Air New Zealand can take you where you want to go, when you want to go, on our network.

Lower fares and more flights to your favourite destinations

To celebrate the launch of our new advertising campaign, we're offering a range of trans-Tasman fares available for a limited time only.

Fly for less to a choice of destinations

Sydney to Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch from just $216* one way, or $396* return.

Looking for a little adventure?

Fly Sydney to Queenstown from $266* one way, or $496* return. And from November, our direct flight service to Queenstown increases to twice weekly.

Holiday deals you're sure to love

Air New Zealand also has a number of fantastic holiday deals available for a limited time only. Find out more.

And finally, if you'd like to see more of Air New Zealand's new campaign and learn exactly what Peter FitzSimons has to do with it, visit our website.

Happy travelling!
From the team at Air New Zealand

A couple of points:
None of the links in the e-mail work. (I marked them blue in the quoted text above. All three are broken.)
These lower fares don't seem that low.

I got the email too - all the links worked fine for me (I just checked). Re the airfares not seeming that low, I agree - they seem like fairly standard Tasman Express fares, though they *do* include taxes etc (so Quokka will be happy).

And as for this question:
What do you love about New Zealand? The tranquil drives or the extreme sports? The trendy Auckland cafes or the beautiful Marlborough wineries?

... the answer is easy: the Marlborough wineries of course! :p :p :p (which I'll be reacquainting myself with on Friday)

How strange!?! I received a second post at another e-mail account and those links didn't work either!

Have a great trip! I'll be back in AKL next month. I'll look out for you. :D
