I thought I might start a thread here for current decent eBay accommodation. I am not the owner of these items for sale nor am I bidding on any, simply providing this as a service. Please, no Timeshare links....

2 Night Stay at Holiday Inn San Fransisco - bidding starts at $150 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=31411&item=2270211366&rd=1)

Mediterranean Break - 2 Person 7 days Value GBP150 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=58744&item=2269414768&rd=1) - Did someone say Malta ?

Boca Raton, Florida Marriott Hotel Voucher (FREE NIGHT) (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1310&item=2270137847&rd=1) - Free consecutive night voucher.

Ok I've done some, now anyone who finds some ebays worth posting, please do :)

Interesting idea. Up to now (since FT's "reorganization") this forum has primarily been related to the opaque Priceline and Hotwire sites. Yet, ebay is also about bidding.
Yet, this brings a dilemma to me as moderator. Often ebay (as I have already been reminded by an astute fellow FTer) "might be in violation of the T&Cs of the travel companies invovled". This is true, but many travel certificates and opportunities on ebay are valid complying opportunities.
We do have "The Coupon Connection" that often has trades with items like the hotel voucher listed in your post.
I think I have to consider if this kind of thread follows the basic mission of this forum,e.g. "Share and learn all the secrets of winning bids on Priceline, Expedia, Hotwire and more."
While this thread doesn't exactly share a secret of how to win a bid, I think we all would agree that the thread re. ebay Priceline points fit well here. Yet, it didn't relate to "winning bids".
Another consideration is whether this kind of thread is inappropriate for FT in general. This goes back to individual rules of the travel company involved.
Whether than close this, yet, I'd appreciate everyone's feedback on this.
I don't want more ebay "deals" listed for now, but some opinions on the value of this kind of information and if it fits on Ft and this forum.

My 2 cents - I just think that posts like these have to be pretty carefully researched - I've noticed many Ebay listings of these nature that are benefits for charities etc (these should be ok) - but many others are from people who are basically "reselling" Priceline/Hotwire reservations (these should not be allowed).

Since I don't have the time to research them, I thank the poster for his effort, but I'll close this.
