As I reported in this prior thread on the topic of Live Agent Chat (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=345583), I inquired via that new service as to whether the Hawaiian Airlines partnership included HA's new Sydney routes. Since this is issue distinctly different than the other one, I thought it was deserving of its own thread. I know I'm not the only person who will wonder about this.
Unfortunately, the answer is no, on all counts. I was told previously that we cannot redeem miles for award travel to Sydney via HA. Today I received this note via e-mail:
Our agreement with Hawaiian only extends to travel to and from Hawaii using miles or earning miles. We have no agreement with them for
Australia although I wish we did.

Here's hoping that SanDiegoShaun's hunch about new potential partners will include Qantas to Australia. Going that far, I'd much rather fly Qantas First Class then HA's B- Business Class anyway!
