Hertz - SUV Rental at PHX

I'm renting at PHX next week with a return to ABQ. I reserved "Cherokee or similar" but the confirmation shows "Explorer or similar". As someone not familiar with US vehicle models - are these similar or are they saying that the smaller vehicle is not available at that location?

Is the Explorer likely to have Neverlost, even though I have not requested it, and will have my PDA GPS with me?

The Explorer is bigger than the Cherokee but not enough that they wouldn't both be classed as "standard 4wd" IMO. I've only seen the "Grand" version of the Cherokee @ Hertz---just a classier version of the standard Cherokee. The biggest difference between the Explorer and Cherokee is the Explorer has the 3rd row of seats.

Over the past couple years I've rented the "standard 4wd" about a half-dozen times and never have gotten a Neverlost (but also never asked for one).

I have never gotten a Neverlost system in a car when I didn't request it.

The Explorer will also have cloth seats. Ask for a Mercury Mountinear, much nicer than the Explorer. (leather, ect)

They stopped making the Cherokee at least 2/3 years ago.
