Trip Reports - Flying to the Windward Islands

Has anyone taken a flight during the winds of hurricane Ivan?

What a wonderful trip report but aren't we missing the actual trip ? :confused:

I flew out of Grenada to St. Lucia and back to the states on Monday, got on the last flight before the airports were closed. They didnt start preparing until the last minute because they didnt think it would hit them directly. very sad story! I feel lucky to have been able to leave.
