Hi,

Doing a little math here, it looks like by year-end 04 I'll have flown 14,539 miles in 2004 on F9...just 461 miles short of requalifying for Ascent...how generous is F9 with situations like this??? Do I need to make a short MR or will they just give me Ascent for 2005???

Thanks,

Why don't you get their credit card? They'll post miles 2-3 days after the end of the first billing cycle. You can get bonus miles for first use or balance transfer (do either one or the other - if you use the card, you'll get 1 mile per dollar spent during the first 3 months, and if you transfer a balance from another card, you'll get 1 mile per dollar up to 10K for only $50).

But will the credit card miles count towards EQM?

I don't think so....

Do you have elite on any other carrier? If so, they will comp you Ascent. (That's how I got mine).

Found a $170 trip DEN-MSP-DEN same-day, so problem solved...thanks for your input though, appreciated greatly!

If you got comped ASCENT for 2004 because you were PREMIER on UA, will they comp you again in 2005 if you are PLAT on AA and DIRT on UA?

My guess would be that there is no harm in trying...might as well give it a shot...

The answer is: YES. Appears you can be comped quick ascent more than once.

I asked this same question when they comped me using the QuickAscent program. They said there was no such restriction.

^ Just wanted to add a note addressing the original question. I was about 600 miles short of making Ascent through miles in my firsy year as a comped Ascent. Frontier made it easy by granting Ascent status for the coming year even with that differential. Nice of them!
