Anyone ??
I've stayed there a number of times recently and the service about on par with other 4 points I've stayed at. Nothing special for Platinums and I haven't found the staff to be too knowledgeable or friendly. It's in a nice area though. I like the Cherry Creek Grill on Steele. There are also a number of good resaurants just a 5-10 minutes south on I-25. I like Dave and Busters, plus its a great place to unwind. It right at the corner of Colorado and I-25. Further down there is a Papadaux's, you'll see off to the right of the highway, at County Line there is a J. Alexanders and a PF Changs.

I would stay at the Westin Tabor Center - downtown, lovely hotel. Cherry Creek has some nice restaurants (a GREAT hamburger place there), the mall, and Tattered Book Cover (with a good restaurant - 4th Story that I would recommend). There are also several parks within walking distance. Weather in DEN is always iffy - 80 one day; snow the next :)
DEN also has a great botancial garden, good art museum, and lots of outdoor activities. A day trip to Estes Park is well worthwhile!

I stayed at Denver Tech two weeks ago. There were some youth athletic group and evangelical convention going on at the property. checked in around 10:00 pm, didn't get a room on preferred guest floor (I knew well in advance from what I heard here and past experience that a Prefer Plus member receive nothing) Got a room on the floor where the youth athletic group was staying. There were trash on the hallway. The room itself smells terrible, smells like a smoking room with excessive air freshner to cover it up. Took the elevator to the front desk and request another room. The new room was just two down from the first one, but it smells much better(I guess they thought that I preferred stinking room initially).
Right now the I-25 is undergoing extensive construction around Tech area. They close I-25 into one lane at night. Driving at night in Denver is rather challenging. Insufficient street light and rather confusing road signs. Make sure you have detailed maps with you.

I just got back from a one night stay there. For $79 per night,I didnt expect too much. I was very happy with their FREE high speed PCs in the business center. Room Service was good . You must try the Bananas Foster on the desert menu. Superb! Great hotel and location for the price. God Bless

Stayed here once about a year ago. The room stunk, literally. The bed was very uncomfortable. The furnishings looked very dated. I would recommend the Sheraton Denver Tech Center. It is just a bit further away, has a Lounge, and the rates are very comparable.
There is another 4 pts. just down the street from Cherry Creek that I think is equally horrid. These 2 properties confirm my notion that most 4 pts. are substandard.

I'm here now. (for only one night)
I asked for a suite upon check-in as Plat (sorry don't have any, not they don't have any available, they don't have any). He gave me one of the nicer rooms, or so he said.
They charge for local calls and 800 numbers.
The pool is outside (no spa) but it would probably be nice on a nice day (which is was today, but I was working).
I checked out the exercise room and it looked OK similar to many other hotels, with a couple treadmills, a stair stepper, and weights. I didn't use it I decided to walk up and down the street and stop for something to eat. There are a few places within walking distance, Chili's, Applebee's, fast food, and more.
The free Internet in the room is the only thing that makes it any good in my opinion. Other than that its just a room, and being Platinum you get nothing other than 250 amenity points.
I've stayed at the one down the street and its worse, as they don't even have Internet in the room.
Both are cheap so if you want a room its OK, if your expecting something special or nice, go somewhere else.

I'm also staying at the hotel tonight !!! nothing to rave about. Room on the 7th floor, starwood preferred floor. free internet is nice, had room service tonight, on the house as my order took 45 minutes to get to my room. Tried the banana fritter, I recommend it !! ^
I spent a night there in May and two nights at the Westin Tabor Center. The Westin is way better, but for the price the 4points is not bad. The shuttle will take u right into town for free, tell them to drop u off at the Rock Bottom...have a wheat beer while youre there.
I think for a 4points, it was a good property.

I was vacationing with my family in Denver last week. Previously my wife and I had stayed at the Westin Tabor Center and loved the downtown location, and the hotel quality was good as well. This time we stayed at the 4 Points Cherry Creek because of the great value for SPG-award rooms: 2000 points on weekends, 3K weekdays. We stayed 3 nights over two different stays, and each time booked the awards the same day with no trouble, and were able to get adjoining rooms both times (each time with one king and two queens).
The hotel has just been upgraded, as was confirmed when we shared an elevator with a staff member giving a tour to a potential wedding party. The upgraded beds are nice, although the bed spreads are quite heavy.
My kids enjoyed the pool. The location is good, a few blocks from the Cherry Creek shopping center, and a short drive from downtown. The only negatives to report are regarding the food at the hotel. We tried to eat at the hotel restaurant late the first night, and had a comedy of errors regarding the contents of a club sandwich, as well as the agonizingly slow delivery of my quesadilla. How could it be so difficult?!
The next morning was also marred by the news that the waffle iron was out of commission. This was doubly dismaying to my wife, since she was also the one who suffered from the club sandwich problem the previous night.
Overall we thought the rooms and location were quite good, but you would do well to look elsewhere to eat.

What a sty. Then again, for $99 I suppose I got what I deserved. I booked a king smoking and ended-up in a 3rd floor hole with two queens. Terrible ventilation. Surly night manager. The worst 4 Points I've experienced.

Stayed there unexpectedly during Christmas holiday last year. Upgraded, but the hotel was empty. Small restaurant on site.. Clean hotel, nice rooms. A bit better than some 4pts
