Starwood Preferred Guest - Referral Bonus @ Starwood

Is there a referral bonus if I refer someone to the Starwood Program and he/she earns points? I know atleast 3 people waiting to join and want to take advantage of it.

To be frank I am the one who is introducing them to Starwood anyway so I guess its OK to hope for some referral bonus...:-)

Nope, you might want to convince them to join Hilton Hhonors. Although, they have a kink in their programming and the referral bonuses aren't consistently posting (at least that's their story).
