I was in the market for a laptop power source to use on UA and was going to buy the IGo Juice adapter, but figured I would stop by Fry's Electronics first. They had the Targus 120W PAPWR200U on sale for $60 instead of $80. Even better when I was at the register to buy it--they let me know that there is currently a $30 rebate on this product.

The net of it is it will cost $35 after taxes. I think the $60 (before rebate price) is only good until August 31. The rebate form says it is available until September 28, 2004.

Anyone have any experience with this adapter and the Dell Inspiron 8600 and UA? I think I may have to buy a tip to work with it? It looks like it will work with my IBM T30, though.

I have used the Targus kit for several laptops. My first one was with a Dell Inspiron 2650, and the power tip didnt' fit. Needed to clip it a bit.

I did like that it comes with several adaptors for the aircraft end for different airlines.

Will this work with a Toshiba satellite on Delta?

Thanks!! I am out the door in a few seconds to the DFW Frys....

The 70W one I have is a bit old and really doesn't provide suffucient power if the battery is below 50%!!

Was just going to read tomorrow, but if I get this I can watch my movies!!

I was going to wait till i arrived to buy one and expense it, but at this price ;-)

Did I read somewhere (maybe on FT?) that some power ports on a/c don't support much more than 70W anyway?
