Hertz - Corproate rates and Upgrades

What can I expect as a 5* member renting a midsize "C" class under a corporate rate.

Anyone think this corporate rate is a little high?

My corp rate there is $39. Is that really a mileage charge listed? I haven't seen anything but "unlimited miles" for a long, long time.

And expect that $45 to result in about a $70 bill for one day. IAH is the worst for &*&*^'ing out-of-towners.

My corporate rates (4500 employee company) are generally around $50/day wherever I go for a full size, prob only a few $ less for mid-size. It includes LDW, which is why it is more expensive than the lowest rate.

Still, our rates were high, and I guess they couldn't negotiate anything better with Hertz, so we dropped them and now have to use Avis or Budget :-(

Damn right.

My trip odometer had me at 113 miles.

But the mileage on my return said I travelled 167 miles which I did not.
