Hilton HHonors - HGI Charlotte

If anyone goes to Charlotte, NC, I highly recommend the HGI in Uptown. Its a few blocks from the Hilton, but I find the staff much more accomodating. Plus, free parking...gotta love that. They almost always give me the 2 room suites or if not the large sweet with the garden tub on the top floor. Great views...

Thanks for the tip. I noticed your credentials say, "Hilton Platinum,". Do you mean, "Hilton Diamond?"

This is a great place to stay and they really go all out to make Diamonds happy. It is a few blocks from Bank of America Stadium, so it is a good place to stay after a Panthers game.

The HGI is a slightly longer walk to restaurants and bars, but the quality of the rooms and staff more than make up for it.

Staying at this hotel right now. Great for Diamonds members, always get upgraded to a suite. The two suite on each floor are XX01 and XX11. One small difference in each room. The XX01 room is longer and has the HS internet access in the bedroom. The XX11 have the HS access in the parlor room. Printer On is also avialable at this property. This is one of my favorite garden inn's. I end up at about every 2 months, and always look forward to it. Rooms on 4 and 5 are great with direct access from the parking garage. Hotel has great access to I-277 and with it I-77 and I-85.
