America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - HP discontiues Monterrey, MX

Its official. HP will discontinue its 1x daily express (Mesa) flight to MTY. HP had threated a couple of months ago to pull out of that route it did not become profitable. I guess it did not work for them. The last day of the service will be Oct. 31 ( I think). Anyway, their other Mexico routes are doing well.

They should take that plane and begin their intra-california network starting with SAN-LAX

Now that is sad when you cant even fille a CRJ once a day with all of the Phoenix feeder traffic! To bad they didnt try Las Vegas to Monterrey, as Monterrey send plenty of tourists to Las Vegas on a daily basis!

May I ask where exactly did you see this? I frequently fly this route and have several reservations both in November and December remaining for this year. I won't act on these until I see something in writing. One is an award reservation.

i also see that just for part of sept into oct that guaymas is cxld as well. they bring it back late oct back to daily service
