It is important to keep in mind a historical perspective when we think of U's future. Remember that U is really an amalgam of airlines that joined together over time. Included in this group of airlines are wonderful companies such as PSA and Piedmont. If U were to not make it, it would not only be the end of U's historical saga, but it would mark the end of the history of the airlines that joined together to form U. When viewed from this perspective, the potential liquidation of U is quite sad.
as much as you may wish liquidation on US, it simply isn't going to happen.
Watch.
and while you are at it, question why I can't even fly out of my hometown airport anymore because it is dominated by a 2nd class airline. Go to your own message board, stop commenting about US.

ISP is Islip, an airport that used to be heavily US, now religated to the brown and orange (and sometimes blue) cattle cars of Southwest.
