Check out www.amigoingdown.com (http://www.amigoingdown.com) . It will give you odds of a crash depending on your airline, day of travel, destination, ect.
Interesting stuff

I recommend you save the trouble! I clicked onto this site and was immediately plagued by NUMEROUS pop-up marketing windows and cookies. DON'T BOTHER!

I am fairly certain everyone's chances of dying are 100%.

Where and when is another story and I doubt the internet will help me find out when and where my bell will toll. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/rolleyes.gif

Goofy website. Didn't list my airport (MCI) and many major ones were omitted (for example, PHL). Also, too many spam-windows.

Redeeming quality: It was sort of fun trying to find the most suicidal routes! Fly a few Airbus segments among the former Soviet republics and you can actually generate some rather non-trivial death odds.

Not sure what this has to do with frequent flyer programs, though...

I think anyones chance of dying on any given day, airline, highway, restaurant, etc are 50/50, either you will or you won't. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

anz5708,

Did you allow for the statistical error of +-3.5%? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Are you trying to tell me that some people who are pronounced dead really ain't? That definitely will change the equation http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/redface.gif

Based on my personal experience thus far, my chances of dying are 0 percent. This has been confirmed via exhaustive sampling of friends and associates. If anyone has direct experience to the contrary, could they post specifics?

As I have said before on this topic, when the odds of dying DRIVING TO THE AIRPORT are included, I will take this type of oddsmaking seriously.
