With the current rail disruption in the Uk BA have reported an increase of 41% in domestic travel. BD have reported a 51% increase on a number of routes. If you are looking to make a domestic connection via LHR or LGW make sure you get that connection or face waiting for available flights which in some cases have been the following day! I had a problem recently where my seat was released 45 mins before departure! I got the seat back but someone was off loaded!
