I apologise if I repeat the contents of any earlier threads in this.
I've recently had my first experience of the Virgin model, and I don't particularly like it. The basic difficulties are:
1) You can't see out of the window even if you have a window seat. (You face inwards).
2) It's impossible to travel with young kids. Just impossible. You can't sit next to anyone, although you can invite someone to sit on your stool for a few minutes. I do have young kids, and they go fine in the existing Business and First because I imprison them beside me.
It's better than the uncomfortably narrow British Airways bed and it is far better than the Qantas Skybed, where you become trapped if your neighbour reclines.
But why can't someone install horizontal lie-flat beds without putting them at a ridiculous angle?
