Dollar - Dollar and Northwest Mileage

Ok, here's the latest from the Dollar website...

"Effective August 1, 2004, Dollar will offer WorldPerks® members 250 miles per qualifying rental transaction of 7 days or less and 500 miles per qualifying rental transaction of 8 days or longer. A rental transaction means a car rental for all consecutive days at any one Dollar location."

So can someone tell me...if i rent a car from Dollar for one day, will i get 250 miles? And if i rent a car from Dollar for 29 days, will i only get 500?

Gee! Thanks for letting me know about the NW miles. I rent from Dollar weekly and have always chosen US AIrways because they gave me the most miles- 250 miles/rental. Since US Airways is so close to insolvency and I just got a free 25,000 mile ticket, I think that I will start accumulating miles on NW.
