Hilton HHonors - Points for zero-folio award stay?

I'm following the advice to remove the post. The gist of it was that I got a small number of points that may have been a mistake in my favor.

Nothing particularly unusual. While you are not supposed to get points on award stays (other than for your incidental charges), it sometimes happens that the hotel you are staying at does not properly code your booking in their system and you receive base points for the amount they receive from HH. Sometimes you also get your double dip miles with it.

You might want to withdraw your post. It may not affect your past stay, but may draw attention to a correctable mistake. Some hotels have posted points in your situation. I'm glad that they are still doing it. I did not get the last time. I hope to get in the future. There is no benefit in keeping your post around here.
