Some airlines have recently announced increase in fuel surcharge (eg BA, QF). Will NZ be following suit?

$10 NZ Domestic

*IIRC Capped at $10 for domestic connections*

Tasman/Pacific $22 per sector
Long Haul $26 per sector
London - Auckland $44 per sector

Dom increase is $3/$4 each way resp for link and mainline.

NZ to London is $44 each way, not 2 X $26

Air fares are about to rise. Air New Zealand has announced it is increasing its fuel surcharge on tickets sold from next Tuesday.

The charge on domestic flights is rising from $10 to $15 one way, and will be incorporated into the fare.

Regional Link services will incur a $10 surcharge one way, up from $6.

The extra bill on trans-Tasman and Pacific flights will rise by $8 to $30 a sector.

For travellers to the United States the surcharge will rise to $40 and it is another $30 from Los Angeles to London.
