Where did you find the $106 RT? Is this SJC to Washington, DC? For $106, this is a great milege run. Flights on Midway Airline earn AA base miles.

I believe this is one of the Midway routes (at least the transcontinental segment) that DO NOT qualify for AA miles or awards or upgrades. I have no idea of how it actually works in practice. The AA Web site lists specific non-qualifying routes.

Ur right hacker..no AA miles since this is a new route and so doesn't fall under the contract w AA.

Still a VERY good deal,tho. I think U can upgrade any coach fare at the gate for fifty
bucks,too.

No miles...even with the benies...so it's probably useless to most!
