Air New Zealand Air Points - Refund/Credit for fare downgrade?

Hi-

Pardon the intrusion from a Yank, but have a question for the Kiwi experts:

Bought 3 domestic NZ tickets at www.airnewzealand.co.nz a few weeks ago. Since then, the fare has dropped by 40NZD per ticket. Does NZ allow for a free reissue and then credit (for future flights) for the fare difference? This is what our crazy airlines up here allow for, but not sure how NZ handles this and have been unable to find any info on the website or in the fare rules.

Nope, although if you have a refundable ticket (ie paid high enough fare) you can always cancel and rebook. May find the savings eroded by admin charge though.
