I got this hotel a couple of weeks ago. Its a 3*, my 1st bid was $47 and I got it after fees & taxes it was $61.33.

Checked in last night and was asked to sign the check-in paper that showed PL paid 29 GBP for the room including VAT. IMy bid came to 34.50 GBP with everything. I guess a $44 or $45 bid would have been good. KEEP in mind that the $ to GBP was at 1.83 so before you bid know the rates since if its less than 1.83 you can bid lower more than 1.83 and it will cost more US$ to get it.
I was given a newly renovated room 2 beds that was GREAT. The a/c was fine, room was very nice and I liked it better than the rooms Ive gotten at the Sheraton Skyline and Renaissance in the past. The hotel is a bit out of the way, 10 mins by taxi, buses require a change on Bath Rd to the 222, But I would go there at that price over anywhere else. The size of the room was 12x15. The bathroom was small but adequate. Didnt get my requested wake up call, the mgr offered me everything to make up for it including any additional monies I needed to pay to get a different flight, I didnt have to pay anything but it was nice that he offered. I did take him up on a cab ride on the hotel to the airport. There are no alarm clocks in the rooms.Yes there are coffee pots and irons.

Thanks for posting this. Good to know for LHR. I never used Priceline. Will you get hotel points for the stay?

received a letter from the GM apoligizing for not getting the asked for wake-up call. The hotel did provide me with a cab ride to LHR.
Now they sent me a letter for a free nights stay the next time. This was on a PL stay. Why go any where else when they treat you like this? NO I did not ask for anything at all, then said OK Ill take a cab, I never requested or even hinted at a free night.
it is abit out of the way need to take the 222 from Bath Rd for 1 GBP each way or the Hoppa, but heck I liked the place and now even more. Yea they will get my reap biz when I need to be by LHR
