Six Continents Club membership seemed like a decent perk of Centurion, including free mini-bar, but then they downgraded the program to Ambassadors and we lost the mini-bar, and now they want a $100 renewal fee?

The fee is still waived. Call the Centurion desk.

Centurion never got you the top level at 6CC (free mini-bar). It's always been the lowest level. And they ask for the renewal fee each year. Just ignore it and you will get your new kit in the mail soon.
