A simple question, as I´m doing an award trip later this autumn, thinking about an extension to china. Probably Shanghai but maybe Beijiing.
Can someone pls tell if there are any space beds on SQ816 SIN-PVG (it seems not to be ?!) or on SQ812 SIN-PEK ??

All flights to Shanghai and Beijing will not have the spacebed as they are all operated by either 3-class B772s or B773s, which have no spacebeds. Just hope for a last minute change in aircraft type to a B744. ;)

Dear all
Does anyone know if SQ already offers the Spacebed product to PVG or are they still flying using the regional seats.
Thanks.

SQ has twice daily flights to PVG are on 77W and 772s. The 77Ws have the new business class seats, which require standard business class mileage redemptions (no saver awards :( ). The 772s have the old regional business class seats.
So if you are paying for your flights, I suggest going for the 77W as you get more of your money's worth. If you are redeeming miles, you are only left with the 772s for saver awards.

Actually, the 0115 has been SpaceBed B77E operated since the new Northern Summer timetable.

Thanks both for the information. I am a fare paying passenger but paying very much lesser. SQ has a great business class offer ex-FRA, that is why I decided to use it to go to Shanghai...:)
I use SQ only for flights from FRA to SIN. This is the first time for me to fly SQ to PVG, please bear with me.
Do you know which other flight is using the B777-200ER (besides SQ826 mentioned by Singapore_Air)? On my booking list, it only mentioned B777-200 / 200 ER or B777-300 (I suppose there is only regional seats).
Seat guru says that there is only space bed in B777-200ER, so I do not want to get on a B777-200. I will certainly not choose the B777-300.
Thank you in advance for the advice.

Only the 826 and the returning from PVG 827 (I think) is B77E operated.
830 and 836 is B773. 828 and 832 are B772. These have the poor hard J product so worth avoiding.

Do they usually put the AVOD-equipped B772 (9V-SQI-SQN) on the PVG runs?

Oh, that means there is a possibility that there isn't any Krisworld for the B772 flights to Shanghai too? That is indeed a world away from the equipment used ex-FRA and is quite a big disappointment.
I really hope there is another flight from SIN to PVG that uses the 777-200ER equipment besides SQ826...:(
Thanks.

There is Krisworld just that it's not AVOD.

That is like a Porsche with only one gear...:)
I always thought Krisworld is synonymous with audio / video on demand.
I am now not expecting too much anymore. Somehow I think the leg to China may not be too enjoyable anymore...

I also thought that the other 772s had an AVOD system, but it was not as complete. Maybe after JFK-FRA-SIN Im too delirious to tell what the SIN-MLE flight has onboard.
