hey cardholders
there is any difference between centurion international (dollar/euro) and centurion issue in UK, CH, GERMANY, JAPAN, MEXICO, HONG KONG or US?

What about the benefits? Are the same?

many thanks

Centurion International Dollar/Euro cards are issued from the UK so have the same benefits as those issued within the UK. Therefore, some of the benefits are not that useful if you live outside the UK, primarily lifestyle benefits.

There is a significant difference between the UK-issued Centurions and those issued in the US, primarily, you do not get any elite status on any airline with the UK cards, as you do with the US cards. The US card includes elite status in Hyatt and Intercontinental hotels, which you do not get with the UK cards (both offer Hilton Gold and Starwood Platinum).

UK cards give you two Priority Pass memberships (airport lounge access) for you and your supplementary cardholder, not given with US cards.

Centurion launched in Australia earlier this year, but with such an excessive price matched with non-existent benefits that I doubt that even 1% of us will renew next year.

Not only do we not get any elite airline status, we don't even get to retain Starwood Platinum after one year. And no Hyatt or Hilton status whatsoever.

We pay US$2000 for a card which compares badly with a $50 platinum card in any other country.

I'm going to enquire about an International Dollar or Euro card, because the Aussie ones make even the British benefits seem good!

Hi DCF
2000$ for a Centurion with no benefits its a lot money :(
I think that you can try to apply for Centurion international dollar or euro... only 1000euro/dollar for annual fee, and you can call the customer service centurion in all europe, and thake the benefits.

ciao

I am curious, what US Airlines does the US Centurion give you elite membership of and at what level?

I am a German Centurion Card Holder.

Main difference to US Card Holders is also that we don't get any airline elite membership. Hotel programs offered are Starwood Preferred Guest Platinum status as well as Hilton Honors Gold status. With rental car companies we get automatic Hertz Gold as well as double upgrade with Sixt rental.

We also get 2 priority pass memberships for the card holder as well the supplementary card holder.

yearly fee is 1000 Euro.

US also gets Avis President's Club and triple upgrades on Hertz (at least we used to. I haven't used Hertz in years). And US gets I-C Ambassador membership.
