Starwood Preferred Guest - Tracking the Fall Stay 3/5 Promo, and other promos - ?

For example I thought we were suposed to get awarded points by booking through the web. I have yet to see anything post in my account for that.
Or Platinum check in amenities. Is there any way to know which property posted them?
How does 3/5 days for a weekend night work? I signed up for the promo, stayed 5 consecutive weekdays and waited for the points to post. The points have posted but how do I see where my 'free weekend night' went to?
I'm all sorts of confused.

You had to book on SPG.com by June 30 to get the extra points via the web.
The 3/5 promo is good for stays between August 1 through November 30. It's impossible for you to have stayed 5 nights during the promotion period since today is August 2.

i don't think that was the question. i believe the question has to do with "Tracking" progress on promotions...and that is a very good question. i don't think spg.com tracks promotions and posts status. i think you have to do that on your own.

You have to keep track of the promotions you qualify for and contact us when you want to redeem using the promotion redemption code we sent you.
Platinum amenities post along with the stay, so you should see that as a line item in the stay transaction.
