California - LGB Security Waits

How is security at LGB? GOnna do a mileage run there in two weeks and only have an hour to get out and get back into the gate area.

You don't say who you are flying, but Jet Blue is in it's own satellite, and then AA, Horizon, America West are in the other. Either way, an hour could be tight, Just don't procrastinate. I'd also recommend using the kiosk for check-in on the return flight. You also might want to stop at the gate of your return flight since it is very well possible that you could check in there without having to go through security. The agent might ask you how you got there, and you should just tell them the truth... you are doing a mileage run. I really believe you won't have to leave the secure area.

Also, the advantage of not leaving the gate area is that Long Beach has free wireless access at the gates, so you can catch up on email.
