Swiss International Airlines - "Talk" youself into Gold

I am lacking 2231 Miles for qualification for STC Gold (I am STC Silver) and wondered if you can "talk" yourself into STC Gold.

As I will travel on vacation soon, STC Gold membership would come in handy. To have Gold status for my vacation travel, I'd need the avove-mentioned 2231 Miles by the end of this month (and I don't have the time for a milage run this weekend).

I heard rumour that you can make the STC call center change you status to Gold "manually" if you speak with them and have a convincing story (e.g. only a few miles left, would for gold anyway in a few months from now).

Mmh... you can try. Providing them with the PNR of an upcoming trip with LX that you've booked already might help you to convince them.

You should try to call them, it worked in the past.
