Does anyone know what's the real reason behind the diversion of the flight I was on about a week ago? The flight was NZ647 19JUL AKL-ZQN. It spent 20mins on holding pattern above Wanaka before diverting to CHC but flew all the way on FL100. The captain said it is mechanical problem but I asked the check-in agent on my way home and she said it was a cracked windscreen. Thanks.
