Came across this on the NZ website (http://www.airnz.co.nz/airpoints/earningairpoints/airline_earn_chart.htm) which I dont remember seeing before.

4. Airpoints members will not be able to accrue points for travel in W booking class on Asiana services from 1 August 2004.

7. Travel on Spanair within Spain does not earn points in discount economy booking classes M,H,Q,S,V,L,T,W,K,G. Travel in discount economy to Europe & Scandinavia will earn 0.50 Airpoints per km (booking classes Q,V,W,K,G, plus T class for flights to Scandinavia).

Damn - I'm flying Spanair in a few weeks...So which airlines/booking classes do not earn points (or do we already have a thread on this?) other than NZ (Tasman express, super saver, etc) ?

The link above sets out the booking classes impacted. Note for JK it is only domestic travel in M,H,Q,S,V,L,T,W,K,G that earns no Airpoints although for discount economy international travel there is only 0.5 points per kilometer (instead of the usual 0.7).

If you are travelling in discount economy you may want to check TG ROP and UA MP to see what miles you get in those programs (if advantageous change your FF # on check in).
