I recently took back to back trips on US and UA. I accumulated miles on US for both trips.
Interestingly enough, the mileage for the UA flights posted one to two days faster than the mileage for US flights....one would think it would be the other way around, but then again..........

It's spotty, though. About 50 percent of the time, my UA flights post faster. However, one UA flight took 5 WEEKS to post -- I was about to send my boarding passes in and then, low and behold, the flight showed up.
What's important to me, though, is that my US Miles have never failed to post......<knock wood>...... a few days after flights.
With all the changes happening (few Elites now clear UGs at our respective windows), I sincerely hope US would not start posting Miles 1, 3 or 7 days afterwards according to our DM levels :)
