US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - OnLine Award Seat Booking-What Am I doing Incorrectly?

I was on the USAir website trying to book a 40,000 point award seat from TLH-MKE in October.

Every date I picked shows as sold out. All 31 days of the month.

I thought 40,000 points off season got you a seat if one is available. I do not believe all TLH seats are already sold out.

Can anyone assist with advice?

I had a similiar problem trying to book award travel from SFO-BHB. It seems that certain destinations have very few or no seats available. I tried every day in October and November and neither month had any seats. I wonder if any seats are even made available on this route ever. :td:

Hmmm. I picked a couple of random days in October and found a THL <-> MKE flight. If
you're not fussy about the particular day you fly, there seem to be seats out there:

I am confused. My thought was that 40,000 miles bought an open seat on any flight between two points. Am I to believe that all seats from TLH to MKE are SOLD OUT? I don't think so.

As far as I know, you're correct -- 40000 miles should usually get you a seat. The example I posted
before was of a seat that is available. My brief search on usairways.com found many flights between
TLH and MKE with seats available in October for 40000 miles. I'm not sure why you're not seeing the
same thing.
