US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - MSP Upgrade Question

I am booking a flight from MSP to DCA on a Friday in September. There is an 11AM thru CLT and a 1PM thru PHL. I am a US2 and wondering if anyone has ever been on these flights and if snagging an upgrade is ever a problem. Right now, res says that the CLT return is showing E6, and the PHL return is showing E4.....

I did that route every week for nearly 5 months, and at those times you should be fine. As a GP, I think I missed twice, and as a CP I never missed. Good luck.

Monday mornings were generally thru CLT (I really try and avoid PHL if I can). Occasionally I would go thru PHL on the Thursday return, but only a mid-afternoon flight. NO WAY would I head thru there Thursday evenings!

I used to make this run 2 or 3 times a month for years and most of the Time I made the ugrade, but I have always been the top level CP now and wht ever it was before then. Also, it seemed to help that I got to kno the USAIR staff at MSP. THe hardest upgrades were phl msp Monday morning (without advance booking) and Friday afternoon to PHL THe interesting thing about that flight on Monday most of us up front got to know each other over the years. :o
