This was in the terms:

Does this mean that I will not get the complementary upgrade? (I am a GP).

I'd call. The language (to me, anyway) suggests that the US20 upgrade does not apply.

Well, according to the following web page T fares are upgradeable. Perhaps that text means mile upgrades by non-Preferred members? :confused:

What are the city pairs and what is the full fare basis? I checked several cheap T fares to FL and couldn't find that language. It doesn't seem to match what they have said about upgrades in the past.

The City Pairs are BOS-FLL...during September.
Language is under Ticket Restrictions, I believe.

Check the actual flights. I was looking at some of those $98 fares myself from PHL to FLL. The flights at that fare required me to connect to DCA on Ted. So obviously, there will be no upgrades available there. Maybe it's the same in your situation.

Nope. No Ted involved in the BOS-FLL itin. Would have been a deal killer for me.
All US metal...lots of options through PIT, DCA (shuttle), CLT or PHL.
I am going to South Beach and would ordinarily go to MIA, but the lowest fare there is about $200, so it makes sense to take the discounted flight to FLL.

My interpretation of the above legalese is that your complimentary upgrades are allowed, but you wouldn't be able to upgrade using Dividend Miles.
E-upgrades from the T booking class are processed at the 3-day window for GPs according to http://www.usairways.com/dividendmiles/programinfo/eupgrades.htm
For whatever reason, your T booking class doesn't allow upgrades using Dividend Miles, though you are allowed according to the listing of Dividend Mile Upgrade Awards at http://www.usairways.com/dividendmiles/redeemingmiles/howtoredeem/upgrades.htm

I called US on this upgrade topic:
Call 1 - Cannot upgrade
Call 2 - (From a CR who seemed a bit more willing to help) Said that as a GP, my normal upgrade procedure (read: free 72 hours out) would work fine.
With the fare being so low and the flights wide open for seating, I'll take my chances with the upgrade. At this price, the exit row certainly wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
