Travel Technology - Laptop bag required for 17" laptop

I bit the bullet and bought a 17" laptop. The only drawback is that the machine (and its assorted peripherals) weights an absolute ton.

Can anyone recommend a wheelie bag that will fit a 17" laptop? I've seen a few shoulder-bags that would accomodate a machine that big, but nothing with wheels.

I think McKlein (http://www.mckleinusa.com/) makes some of the best stuff I've ever seen.

www.roadwired.com - I LOVE their stuff. My 17inch fits perfectly in their mega-media bag.

I second the Roadwired recommendation. I was looking for a super light bag and found their laptop sleeves. It's been working great for the last few years.

I bought mine through ebags.com. They often have deals.

Brenthaven makes a good backpack and shoulder bag.

For a casual bag, I used to like the Tombuktu Commuter bags, but they shipped their commute bag manufacturing to China, and I don't like the designs nearly as much. Their regular messenger bags are awesome though. They're customizable. You can get a sleeve from them (or elsewhere if you wanted... InCase would be a good option if you have a 17" Powerbook) to go inside the Timbuktu bags. These are the types of bags that real-live messengers use. I love the waxed canvas ones -- and the fact that you can choose your own colors and add-ons.

Come to think of it, InCase makes some nice, slim bags for 17" powerbooks, in addition to sleeves.
