Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - What's b/c on 3-class 330?

According to the d/l timetable, CX738 DXB-HKG looks to be a 3-class A330 (at least sometimes). What is b/c seating like in that situation?

You'll get the longhaul seats as you get on the 747-400 and A340 fleets. These A333's, as they're normally known, are used primarily on the SYD/MEL routes but they are also deployed on the nonstop DXB routes sometimes.

I think the good thing about CX is that it is easy to identify the type of seats you will get based on the CX Designated codes:

For the Airbus 330 there are 2 types:

333 (3 Class with new J Class)
330 (2 Class with old J Class or maybe new REGIONAL J Class)

Airbus 340

34C (3 Class with New J Class)
34D (2 Class with new J Class)
340 (3 Class with OLD J class - are there any of these types remaining??)

346 (3 Class with new J Class)

747-400

744 = 3 Class (with small J Class cabin in lower deck - 3 rows but all new J Class)

74J = 3 Class (w/ larger J Class cabin in lower deck and new J Class)

74B = 3 Class (with the DREADED old J Class) You will be pretty unlucky to score on of these on long haul, but it does happen from time to time!! Are they planning to get rid of the 74B config? or still use it on short-haul ?

As I understand it, the 74B and the 340 configs (which used to be "343" in the systems) have all been upgraded.

These codes no longer exist in the CX system. All long-haul aircrafts have now been upgraded! Yippy! :D
