How is it? Ok to fly?

Ok to fly? chtiet Jul 8, 04, 3:55 pm Flew them back in 2000 CPT-JNB. Was perfectly OK, on time, food in Y pretty good (South African dish "Boboti"). Airplane was an oldish 737-200, but reasonably comfy for the ~2hr flight. It was an SN codeshare (Sabena Belgian RIP), so I even got either DL or AA miles (can't remember which - I think AA). floris_FRA Jul 9, 04, 4:18 am How is it? Ok to fly? I prefer Nationwide over the other LCC (kulula.com is terrrible!!!) and have had good experiences on them. They have a fairly limited network, but you should get good service and they should be pretty much on time... ^ aristoph Jul 12, 04, 8:53 am Flew them last September from LVI to JNB. It has to be one of the oldest planes I've ever been on! The decor and uniforms were equally dated although the service was fine. I would never fly them again unless I had no choice (and BA/Comair now flies the JNB-LVI route :) ). Stick to SAA if you can. The planes are much newer and the service even better. |
