Everyone interested in the Starwood Privilege Club which is offered throughout Asia/Pacific will be pleased to know that they now have their own official website which can be found here (http://privilege.starwood.com/index.html). ^

If you haven't heard about the progam yet but travel to Asia or Australia, you may want to keep on reading. IMO, the membership fee is well worth it even if you just have a few stays in this part of the world.

Up until now you could only get in contact with them via phone from within Australia. So, from now on it should be easier for everyone to know what the Club is all about and what it has to offer. You can even apply over the internet now...just fill out the form and they will get back to you within 3 business days.

Some additional discussion on this topic can also be found here (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=324451&highlight=privilege).

If you are staying at *Wood hotels in Asia/Pacific on a regular basis this membership is well worth it. Just the 5x50% off coupons make up for the membership alone. Then you're left with 20 complementary meals when dining with someone else.

If you are thinking about becoming a member (the fee is AUD$249 p.a.) I would be more than happy to refer you...they give out wine certificates for every referral which I always have use for... ;) Just PM me if you're interested...

Thanks so much for drawing this program to our attention. I had seen it on posters in many Asia properties but hadn't really "clicked" with respect to both the dining AND the stay discounts. I make 10-12 trips a year to asia so this is a great program. Transferability of coupons for stay and dining discounts is also a good feature.

I sent in the email request as instructed on the 8th July and only today (12 Aug) received a very nice phone call from a program coordinator in Sydney who signed me up. Too bad, as I just had a very nice (but expensive suite) stay at the Hong Kong Sheraton Towers (it was my mom's b'day so had to splurge). The great feature of this program is that you can book discounted suites (when they are available) as well as rooms on line.
