I signed up for the following promotion a few months back, but never saw any credit on my OnePass account, nor did I get my 50% coupon (which off a rack rate is pretty much worthless anyway). My question is: did I need to opt for OnePass miles instead of SPG points to get these bonus miles? Or should I start pestering OnePass?

As a OnePass member, you can earn thousands of bonus miles and more just by staying at participating Starwood hotels and resorts in the U.S. and Canada through July 31, 2004. Arrive Sunday through Thursday and earn:
* 1,000 miles for your first stay
* 2,000 miles for your second stay
* 3,000 miles for your third stay
That's a total of 6,000 miles.
After your third stay, you'll receive two certificates for 50% off at any participating Starwood hotel or resort worldwide through December 31, 2004.
