Apart from more offerings of snacks on this flight in Y is there any other real enhancment? More room perhaps?

I don't think CX has announced anything like that.

Unfortunately unlike SQ's nonstop product to LAX, CX isn't offering anything unique. Well, you've got yourself that 9' (? just larger) personal monitor on A346 so I guess that's the only thing "enhanced".

Perhaps soon...

In the latest press release, CX said:

The non-stop flight will feature Cathay Pacific’s award-winning First Class, New Business Class, and enhanced Economy Class.

This makes us wonder how they enhanced the product on the 346s.

I haven't taken economy in ages, only FIRST CLASS, and sometimes BUSINESS CLASS. On the 340-600's, the first class seats are the latest generation, and offer some improvements. I still prefer the seats on the 34C's, though.

I think the economy class seats have larger headrests.. but this aircraft has been in CX's fleet for about 2 years now.. and it has been flying to SYD, LAX and at one time, YVR. So it has been around... so I don't think there are anything enhanced.
